Fleetway and The Maniac
Fleetway, as depicted in Abyssal Escape, is paired with The Maniac in Just5ome0n3’s 2026-10-16 title. The community entry lists The Maniac among the release cast but does not independently spell out Fleetway.
Conflicting strength opinions
Cinoss titled a 2026-10-17 video as overpowered. A 2026-10-19 UTC comment calls Fleetway mid. These are attributed opinions across different sessions, not proof of either a best or worst ranking.
Mechanics and source limits
October 18 comments in the same discussion describe flight controls, a laser and a grab with unreliable hit detection. Those are player reports, not an official move list. The October 16 showcase explicitly warns that its early-access footage may change. No official damage, cooldown or difficulty table was verified as of 2026-10-19.
Survivor-side caution
A console player report describes awkward inputs when breaking out of Fleetway’s grab. Check the controls available on your device; this is troubleshooting context, not proof of a universal escape sequence. See play and survivor abilities.
Videos and related roles
The embedded videos offer gameplay and an opinion, not comparable match statistics. Return to killers, compare 2017X, and use tier notes and updates to keep launch impressions separate from later changes. No independently verified voice credit is asserted here.
Questions
Is Fleetway the same as The Maniac?
Just5ome0n3’s 2026-10-16 video title puts both names on one killer. Community wiki pages use The Maniac without always writing Fleetway, so this page keeps both.
Is Fleetway overpowered?
Cinoss titled a 2026-10-17 video “Fleetway Is OVERPOWERED.” Other players the same weekend called Fleetway mid. This page records the split. It does not pick a tier score.
